Staging Post / Collection Centre

Edward Gilder & Co also operates its own brand new state of the art staging post and collection centre which has two members of staff on hand 24 hours a day 7 days a week to cater for your livestock's every need thoughout their stay. Our staging post is currently the nearest to every major ferry crossing to Europe and is based in the centre of England close to all the major motorway networks. With this location we can provide our customers with a complete service from collecting animals for export, export vetinary service's to 24 hour rest periods for animals on route. Everything is taken care of and much consideration is given to provide the best possible service and the most effective passage.

We provide a collection centre service. This service provides farms with small numbers of animals to be transported reduced transport costs, with the added bonus of reducing there Carbon Foot Print. The service works in the fact that farmers in the surrounding areas, that only have a small number of animals to be transported to abattoirs or long distances can bring there animals to our collection centre where thy will be loaded onto one of are artic vehicles with animals from other farms & transported to there final destination.
